Nurse Specialist

Mater Private Hospital Mackay is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join our team in a range of wards, including Surgical, Medical, Emergency Care, Oncology/Palliative Care, High Dependency Unit, and Paediatrics.
As a Registered Nurse at Mater, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient management of care within the scope of practice and professional guidelines.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing evidence-based and contemporary patient-centred clinical care in collaboration with other multidisciplinary healthcare team members.
- Ensuring the safe and efficient management of care within the scope of practice and professional guidelines.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal clinical outcomes.
About You
To be successful in this position, you will have:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Division 1 (Registered Nurse) with no practice restrictions.
- Digital and computer proficiency, extending to Microsoft 365 applications.
- Complete vaccination against COVID-19 and the ability to provide appropriate evidence as prescribed by Services Australia before commencement.
- Minimum of one-year post-graduate experience.
- Australian Citizenship, permanent residency, a current work Visa with no restrictions or an applicable ANMAC occupational code if seeking Visa sponsorship.
