About the Role

In this role, you will work across various categories within the independent convenience store and petroleum industry. Your responsibilities will include assisting the Category Management team in developing and executing channel marketing strategies, promotions, and member-focused projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in implementing category plans and managing product portfolios
  • Execute monthly promotional programs
  • Collaborate with Category Managers on presentations for retail and trade customers
  • Maintain relationships with trade partners and suppliers
  • Monitor markets and analyse sales data
  • Support with administration and reporting
  • Manage CRM activities
Requirements
  • Min 2 years experience in a related role
  • Exposure to grocery, convenience store, petrol station, or FMCG markets preferred
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data
  • Ability to contribute to strategy delivery and achieve KPIs
  • Excellent communication skills, with potential for presentation
  • Team-oriented with a focus on career development in category management or related buying fields
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications advantageous
