We are seeking a highly skilled Administration Officer to support the hospital's Admissions and Reception.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a broad range of administration duties, including:

  • Answering and redirecting calls
  • Organising appointments and preparing admission paperwork
  • Conducting follow-up requests and making reminder calls for visits

In addition, they will maintain accurate record management systems, perform Health Fund Checks as required, manage the collection of excesses/co-payments, and coordinate with staff from other departments.

About the Role:

This is a key position within the Patient Services Team, requiring strong organisational and communication skills. The successful candidate will be able to work well independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide administrative support to the hospital's Admissions and Reception teams
  2. Manage appointment bookings, admissions and discharge processes
  3. Process Health Fund Checks and manage the collection of excesses/co-payments
  4. Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations
