About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Primary Care Physician to join our medical center in Bowen, Queensland.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct patient consultations and assessments to diagnose and manage a variety of medical conditions, both acute and chronic.
  • Prescribe medications, treatments, and therapies as appropriate.
  • Provide preventive care, including health screenings, vaccinations, and health advice.
  • Collaborate with specialists and healthcare teams to coordinate patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Medical degree and full registration with the relevant medical board.
  • Fellowship with RACGP (or equivalent).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

Work Environment

The GP will work in a medical center, providing high-quality, accessible healthcare to the community. The centre is situated at the top of the Whitsunday Coast in Bowen, located 45 minutes' drive to Airlie Beach.

Salary Information

The salary for this role is estimated to be around $200,000 per annum, based on a percentage of billings.
