Exciting Opportunity in Instrumentation
The Waitsia Gas Project Stage 2 development, near Dongara, Western Australia, requires skilled Instrument Technicians to work on a 20&8 roster (bus-in / bus-out from Perth, or DIDO from Dongara).
About the Role:- Responsibilities include commissioning and fault-finding diagnostic's on equipment including Distributed Control System (DCS), Safety Instrumented System (SIS), Power Distribution Control System (PDCS), fire and gas detection systems, and field instrumentation.
- Accurate documentation of instrumentation testing activities, check-sheets, drawing revisions, specifications, cause and effects and engineering / process changes will be essential.
- Carrying out other duties as required at the direction of supervisor or lead is also necessary.
- A Certificate IV in Instrumentation level education is required.
- Holding Electrical Licence WA, Construction White / Blue Card, UETTDRRF06B - Perform rescue from a live LV panel, HLTAID001 Provide Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Installation and Maintenance of Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Areas (EEHA) qualifications are mandatory.
- Desirable skills include knowledge of Loop Testing, Completions / Commissioning electronic database, Current Australian C Class Driver's Licence, Enter and Work in Confined Space, and Work Safely at Heights.
