Job Title:

Learning and Development Specialist

About the Role:

This position involves overseeing the creation, coordination, and assessment of induction, compliance, and capability-building programs that align with operational and contractual requirements.

The role offers a wide scope of responsibilities including:

  • Leading the development of training needs analysis and associated manuals
  • Maintaining training registers and compliance tracking systems
  • Overseeing the design and delivery of induction and job readiness programs
  • Creating and maintaining Manager Handbook and Contract Handbook resources
  • Implementing a 3-month compliance and training check process
  • Establishing training reporting dashboards for compliance and strategic review
Key Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in L&D leadership or training program delivery within a complex, operational environment. Key skills and qualifications include:

  • Experience developing and executing training strategies, induction programs, and compliance frameworks
  • Strong stakeholder engagement experience, including with RTOs and industry bodies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in LMS platforms, Microsoft Office, and training documentation
