East APAC F&B Manager

The East APAC F&B Manager plays a pivotal role in leading the SLS team, driving customer satisfaction and growth by supporting onsite trials, problem-solving and new product development opportunities.

This position is remotely based in Australia, China or Japan, providing unbiased technical support to customers producing high-quality food and beverages. As an East APAC Manager, you will be responsible for communicating business activities/requirements to all F&B SLS people reporting to you, contributing to setting yearly F&B SLS objectives and collaborating with F&B SLS global management to maximize revenue from paid services.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to drive process optimization and harmonization within European F&B SLS as well as globally.
  • Provide expert scientific and technical support to Pall East APAC F&B SLS in APAC and link with other regional and global SLS teams.
  • Align closely with Pall F&B; develop strategy within region to support and monitor through metrics (e.g., response time) and specific deliverables (e.g., customer reports).

The essential requirements include:

  • Degree (or equivalent), MSc or PhD in Science/Engineering (Brewmaster, Food technologist, Microbiologist, Biotechnology, etc)
  • Ability to resolve complex technical problems, make recommendations and give in-depth reasons and guiding members of team (internal and/or external) for execution.
  • Excellent written and communication skills in English.
  • Be prepared to travel 50% of time per month, willing to travel to customer locations and other Pall sites globally.
