Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic leader to join our team as the Head of Facilities Management. This role will provide strategic direction, leadership, and operational management of all Distribution Centres nationally. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of driving business growth, improving efficiency, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a large team to deliver Facilities Management Services across the Distribution Centres nationally
  • Drive a culture of Continuous Improvement, Innovation, and Outstanding Stakeholder Management
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to meet the changing needs of the business while managing a substantial operational budget and capital expenditure
  • Embed a Safety Culture, managing risk, site safety, legislative, and operational compliance
  • Challenge the status quo with positive intent and adhere to the Woolworths Core Values and ways of working

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar senior leadership role, ideally in a distribution centre, supply chain, manufacturing, or multi-site environment
  • Previous stakeholder management experience and ability to establish and maintain strong relationships
  • Strong business acumen, strategic planning, and large-scale budget P&L experience
  • Proven coaching and leading transformational change and business initiatives across a geographically dispersed team
  • Understanding of compliance requirements with relevant acts, Australian Standards, and statutory provisions
  • Experience or knowledge of Automation, essential services, refrigeration, air conditioning, or electrical systems (highly regarded)
