Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead a team of Youth Workers, Therapists, and Management in providing intensive trauma-informed support to children and young people.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Leading the team in delivering therapeutic interventions while maintaining cultural safety.
  • Developing relationships with key stakeholders and local community supports as required.
  • Contribute to the assessment of need and development of individual therapeutic plans for young people.
  • Providing 1:1 supervision and coaching with Youth Workers.
  • Participating in the recruitment process of staff.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Training and qualifications in Youth Work or Social Work.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience working directly with children/young people in the care system.
  • The ability to demonstrate experience working with children/young people with challenging behavior in a trauma-informed way.
  • Desirable: experience in leadership or supervisory roles.
