Role Overview

This leadership position plays a pivotal role in shaping the technology landscape of a large organisation. The Senior Technical Architect will design and implement secure, scalable, reliable, and cost-effective technical solutions that align with the company's strategic goals.

The successful candidate will work across various technology domains, collaborating closely with solution architects to deliver innovative, enterprise-grade solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide architectural leadership and guidance to ensure alignment with enterprise strategies and standards.
  • Define target states, promote reusable patterns, support risk assessments, and produce platform and technical architectures.
  • Mentor others in best practices and provide expertise in complex ICT environments.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in technical architecture and leadership, strong knowledge of cloud platforms, and excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Requirements
  • Proven experience in technical, cloud, platform, and infrastructure architecture and leadership within medium to large organisations.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), Microsoft 365 services, and enterprise infrastructure.
  • A solid grasp of security, disaster recovery, observability, and IT service management (e.g., ServiceNow).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across business and technical teams.
