Lead Software Architect Role

The company is seeking an experienced and skilled Lead Full Stack Developer to play a key role in driving the success of their B2B and software partner digital product suite.

  • As the lead developer, you will be responsible for leading and coaching other developers to deliver effective software solutions.
  • You will set programming standards and ensure compliance with security and development methodologies.
  • The successful candidate will design and implement scalable, maintainable, and high-performing applications.
  • Collaboration with stakeholders is crucial as you translate design concepts into functional code.
  • Deployments, testing, and third-level support for production environments will also fall under your responsibility.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of development technologies and advising on their application is vital.

This is a permanent opportunity based in Brisbane, Sydney, or Melbourne.

About You:
  • Strong understanding of server-side development using Java and the Spring framework with approximately 70% focus in this area.
  • Proficiency in frontend development using React, TypeScript, CSS, HTML5, and JavaScript with the remaining 30% focus.
  • Experience building with cloud technologies like Azure and GCP.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and backend build tools, maintenance, and automation.
  • Proficiency in unit testing and automated testing frameworks ensuring reliable and robust code.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a natural ability to solve problems effectively.
