Job Overview:

The role of the Technical Integration Specialist is to provide technical integration support to a team of engineers delivering the integration of new sites into operations.

This includes attending customer meetings, providing relevant reports and updates as required, and escalating or flagging issues to the Technical Integration Team Lead and Project Managers as needed.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all test requirements for Pre-stage, Construction and Post Construction testing activities are completed, raising defects for items not complete or outside specifications and providing risk assessment as required.

Additionally, the candidate will assist in coordinating deployments, technical reviews and meetings as required, perform quality checks on commissioning documents and fill in and represent for Team Leader during leave absences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical integration support to the engineering team.
  • Attend customer meetings and provide relevant reports and updates.
  • Escalate or flag issues to the Technical Integration Team Lead and Project Managers as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The following skills and qualifications are essential for this role:

  • Post-qualification experience in an operational or technical environment with experience in P25 Radio / Telecommunications networks.
  • Telecommunications: technical proficiency.
  • Ability to analyse technical results and complex data.
  • Knowledge of RF and antenna systems.
  • Knowledge of commissioning and site build provisioning.
  • Telecommunication radio, mobile site installation, provisioning and commissioning expertise.
  • Experience with IP or MPLS based networks. ITIL Foundation Certificate preferred.

Working Conditions:

This role requires on-site attendance five days a week and is unable to be performed remotely due to security clearance requirements.

Australian Citizenship is essential to obtain and maintain a baseline security clearance as a condition of employment.
