About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Team Leader to join our team. This is an administrative and hands-on focused role, responsible for the effective and safe running of our sites.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing the day-to-day operations of the site
  • Supporting clients with their appointments
  • Supporting the Service Manager with 24/7 rosters across multiple locations
  • Meeting with families, carers, and potential clients to discuss needs and packages
  • Supervising and supporting direct reports
  • Ensuring all compliance measures are being met
  • Coordinating case management for clients as required
  • Coordinating all site administrative processes
  • Providing support to the Service Manager for the area
  • Strong background in mental health and behavior of concern
  • Experienced in conflict resolution
  • Strong leadership skills, including guiding and mentoring of staff
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Manual handling exposure
About the Candidate

This role requires a strong leader with organizational skills, able to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage teams. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a supervisory capacity within disability services
  • Understanding of the NDIS
  • Experience working with clients with physical and mental disabilities, as well as High-Needs participants
  • Qualification in Disability - Cert IV in Community Services/Disability or equivalent (highly advantageous)
  • Strong administrative skills - computing, reporting, and rosters, etc.
  • Driver's License
Mandatory Requirements

The successful applicant will be required to hold or be willing to obtain a National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) worker screening clearance, Working with Children Check. They must also have the NDIS Worker Orientation certificate completed.
