Solidifying a robust and scalable technology stack is pivotal to the growth of any e-commerce platform. By building a strong foundation, businesses can efficiently manage their online presence, ensure seamless user experiences, and drive revenue growth.
As a senior infrastructure engineer, you will be an integral part of our infrastructure engineering team, designing and implementing the underlying technology framework that powers our stores. You will collaborate closely with software engineers and operations teams to ensure seamless web architectures and cloud technologies are in place.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply software engineering and site reliability engineering principles to build, maintain, monitor, and operate complex infrastructure.
- Work collaboratively with peers to expand knowledge and understanding of technologies used in the platform.
- Take initiative to enhance existing systems and code.
- Provide support to the Engineering and Customer Support teams.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience in building software for large Linux-based web application environments.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with geographically distributed teams.
- Possess a passion for learning and working with new technologies or languages.
