About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Product Development Engineer to lead the execution of Customer-Back Innovation (CBI) projects. As a key member of our R&D team, you will be responsible for driving the design, development, and delivery of new product pipeline projects and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead projects and initiatives from concept through completion, managing development work to strict timelines and budgets
  • Adopt an 80/20 mindset and ensure alignment with the Customer-Back Innovation framework to achieve top-tier results
  • Utilise industry-leading tools and methodologies such as DFMEA, DFx, Root Cause Analysis, Rapid Prototyping, Finite Element Analysis (FEA), and Six Sigma
  • Maintain the highest quality standards throughout the product development lifecycle
  • Engage with cross-functional project stakeholders to manage scope, time, cost, and risk
  • As a senior engineer, mentor and coach R&D team members, fostering their professional growth and strengthening overall team capabilities
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng), with professional registration or eligibility is highly desirable
