About the Role

As an Incubation Technician with Aviagen ANZ, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and implementation of effective incubation practices for poultry breeding.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Provide technical assistance to the Senior Incubation Technician and Incubation Supervisor to ensure the smooth operation of the hatchery.
  • Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and record data on incubation and sets, including hatch windows, temperatures, CO2 levels, 10-day candling, hatch breakouts, and egg hygiene.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and address issues in preparation, incubation, and hatch outcomes to ensure continuous improvement in production.

Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Animal Husbandry or Animal Science (or relevant prior experience).
