Incubation Specialist

We're seeking a highly skilled Incubation Technician to join our team at our state-of-the-art hatchery in Goulburn. As an Incubation Technician, you will support the Senior Incubation Technician and the Incubation Supervisor to develop and implement effective incubation practices for poultry breeding.

• Provide technical support to the incubation team, including data collection and analysis.
• Assist in controlled breeding experiments to optimize embryonic development and hatch rates in alignment with Aviagen breeder standards.
• Monitor facility equipment and adjust incubation plans to meet customer orders.
• Collate and record data on incubation and sets, including hatch windows, temperatures, CO2 levels, 10-day candling, hatch breakouts, and egg hygiene.
• Identify and address issues in preparation, incubation, and hatch outcomes to ensure continuous improvement in production.

We're looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's Degree in Animal Husbandry or Animal Science, or relevant prior experience. If you're passionate about the poultry industry and want to develop your skills and expertise, we'd love to hear from you.
