Sunlover Reef Cruises operates daily from Cairns to Fitzroy Island and Moore Reef on the Great Barrier Reef, offering an award-winning experience.

We provide glass bottom and semi-submersible boat tours, guided snorkelling interpretive tours, introductory and certified diving, seawalker helmet diving, and helicopter reef scenic flights.

This role is perfect for individuals with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and leading high-performing teams.

You will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our vessels;
  • Maintaining a consistently high standard of safety and service for passengers and crew;
  • Providing excellent customer service to our guests;
  • Supervising and leading a team of 20-30 members;
  • Collaborating with the Head of Operations and Engineering to maintain vessels to the highest standards.

To succeed in this position, you will need:

  • A Master IV qualification;
  • Experience in a similar role within the tourism industry;
  • Associated MED certificates considered an advantage;
  • A high level of grooming and presentation;
  • The ability to adhere to company operating standards.

This is a full-time position that requires working over a 7-day roster, including weekends and public holidays.
