Nurturing Educator

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Casual Educator to join our team at Busy Bees at Kilburn. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and engaging environment that promotes the growth and development of young children.
The ideal candidate will have a Certificate III, Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or an equivalent). You will also need to possess a current and valid Working With Children Check or be able to obtain one. First Aid Certificate including training in asthma and anaphylaxis is also a must.
As an Early Childhood Educator, your key responsibilities will include designing, implementing and evaluating developmentally appropriate programs for children. You will also need to provide a safe, respectful and inclusive environment for all children. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential to liaise with children, parents and colleagues.

Essential Qualifications:
- Certificate III, Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or an equivalent).
- A current and valid Working With Children Check or ability to obtain one.
- First Aid Certificate including training in asthma and anaphylaxis.
Essential Skills and Attributes:
- Ability to provide a safe, respectful and inclusive environment for all children.
- Understanding the developmental milestones and needs of children in various age groups.
- Capability to design, implement and evaluate developmentally appropriate programs for children.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise with children, parents and colleagues.
- Ability to work as part of a diverse team.
- Adaptable to various situations and needs that arise in an early childhood setting.
Desirable Skills and Knowledge:
- Familiarity with the national early learning framework for children from birth to five years.
- Understanding of the standards and assessment process to ensure quality service.
- Respect and understanding of diverse cultures, families and individual children's needs.
- Proficiency in using computers and relevant software to document children's learning and development.
- Previous experience as an Educator, Assistant Educator, Childcare Assistant or similar.
