Job Title: Welfare Officer

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated professional to fill the role of Welfare Officer. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering advanced level welfare services to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Exercise decision-making skills in resolving complex clinical cases.
  • Work cooperatively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Provide information and advice on relevant welfare matters, promoting health equity and supporting the needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications and experience in social work or a related field.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
