Global Banking Associate Overview

We are seeking a skilled Global Banking Associate to join our team in Sydney.

The successful candidate will be responsible for originating, leading and executing equity capital market transactions for corporate and financial sponsor clients. They will also develop content for client meetings, provide strategic alternatives and assist with live equity offerings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Originate, lead and execute equity capital market transactions for corporate and financial sponsor clients.
  • Develop content for client meetings regarding their strategy and potential capital market transactions, as well as regular market updates.
  • Liaise with internal and external parties to execute transactions and discuss strategic alternatives.
  • Assist in coordinating live equity offerings, including bookbuilds and settlement/operational flow.

As a Global Banking Associate, you will play a vital role throughout the entire transaction process, including project management for mission-critical equity financings.

Our ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree and 2-5 years' relevant work experience within ECM, Capital Markets or related areas. They possess strong interest and understanding of equity markets, exceptional multi-tasking and communication skills, and the ability to interact and build relationships with a wide range of people.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from a top-tier institution.
  • 2-5 years' relevant work experience within ECM, Capital Markets or related areas.
  • Strong interest and understanding of equity markets.
  • Exceptional multi-tasking and communication skills.
  • Ability to interact and build relationships with a wide range of people.
  • Highly organized and motivated individual with a solid work ethic.
