Retail Store Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking an exceptional Retail Store Manager to lead our store's operations and drive sales performance. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day activities, managing staff, and creating policies to optimize operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee the day-to-day running of the store and ensure exceptional customer service
  2. Lead and direct staff, including recruitment, scheduling, training, and performance management
  3. Create and enforce policies and procedures to optimize operational efficiency
  4. Track and evaluate sales performance and financial metrics
  5. Manage financial operations, including budgeting and preparing reports
  6. Build and maintain supplier partnerships, including negotiation of terms and pricing
  7. Execute marketing strategies and promotional campaigns to increase customer engagement and retention
  8. Handle customer complaints while maintaining exceptional service standards
  9. Adhere to and enforce safety protocols to ensure workplace health and safety compliance

Requirements:
  • Minimum of a Diploma-level qualification in Retail Management or at least three years of relevant experience
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in a retail management discipline
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Proven experience in sales and customer service
  • Ability to manage financial and operational aspects of a store
  • Commitment to workplace safety and compliance standards
