Registered Nurse Position

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. In this role, you will be providing high-quality care to residents in our residential aged care home.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the aging process and age-related health issues, as well as excellent clinical knowledge and skills.

You will work closely with our Care Manager to provide coaching, supervision, and guidance to the personal care team.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct clinical nursing care to residents in line with best practice nursing procedures
  • Act as Team Leader, providing coaching, supervision, and guidance to the personal care team
  • Work in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues, and residents, following all policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Kind heart and genuine passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly
  • Current AHPRA registration following completion of a Bachelor of Nursing or similar
  • Thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards
  • Demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes
  • Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process, particularly age–related health issues
  • Strong coaching/training skills
  • Effective conflict resolution skills with a high level of emotional intelligence
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Competent IT skills
  • Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance
