About this role

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver Warehouse to join our team. As a Driver Warehouse, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate collection of goods from various locations, which requires excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities
  • Loading/unloading – loose goods including furniture items.
  • Performing labouring tasks. Together with a jockey you will lift and carry reasonable weights.
  • Distribution of goods to stores and assisting retail staff where required.
  • Ensuring a professional customer relations experience for customers.
  • Using an electronic device to complete delivery paperwork.
  • Maintaining safe WHS methods and driving practices.
  • Completing pre-start checks, reporting incidents, near misses and vehicle maintenance issues.
  • Maintain cleanliness of vehicle provided.
About you / qualifications
  • A valid MR license or higher; current Australian drivers license.
  • Minimum 1 year driving experience operating a medium rigid vehicle (preferred).
  • Strong time management, reliability and a can-do attitude.
  • Confident driving skills and a proven safety record.
  • Experience in multi-drop, courier and/or furniture removal is an advantage.
  • Good written and oral communication skills; organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • A right to work in Australia.
