Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of significant infrastructure and building construction projects with valued clients.

Main Responsibilities
  • Project Delivery: Lead project teams, including junior staff, within a large team structure.
  • Client Relationships: Manage client relationships and contribute to the growth of the project management business.
  • Infrastructure and Building Projects: Deliver infrastructure and building construction projects and manage related contracts, contract administration, and design management.
  • Leadership Skills: Provide leadership to project teams and coordinate with stakeholders, support governance, and ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery.
Requirements
  • A tertiary qualification in project management, engineering, construction management, or similar.
  • At least 10 years of project management experience.
  • Experience in client-side project management across Government and Health projects, particularly infrastructure planning and delivery.
  • Demonstrated recent project experience involving buildings and construction.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and experience managing teams.
  • Strong understanding and proven experience in managing contracts, contract administration, and design management.
  • Very strong stakeholder management, communications, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
  • Australian citizenship and holding or able to obtain and retain a minimum Australian Government Baseline Security Clearance.
  • AIPM Certified Practising Project Manager certification or equivalent is favorable.
  • Comfortable working within a large team structure and providing leadership to junior staff.
  • Desire to work on major complex projects.
  • Flexible to travel as required to site-based meetings and activities for clients.
