Trainee Construction Specialist

We are looking for an enthusiastic Construction Trainee to join our team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to learn the skills and gain the experience needed to kick-start a successful career in construction.

You will have the chance to work on various projects, from new builds to renovations, and develop your knowledge and skills in areas such as:

  • Constructing wall and ceiling frames, pitched roofs, eaves, external stairs
  • Laying sub-flooring and floorboards
  • Nailing fascia panels, fitting exterior wall cladding, door and window frames
  • Measuring materials & carrying out calculations
  • Cutting materials, assembling and nailing
  • Using a variety of hand and power tools

To be successful in this role, you will need to be physically fit, self-disciplined, and have attention to detail. You must also be reliable, resilient, motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for building and construction, and an eagerness to learn all about the industry. They will also have problem-solving skills, be able to soak up knowledge quickly, and have excellent communication skills.
