Concrete Plant Manager Trainee Opportunity

We have a challenging and rewarding role available for a Concrete Plant Manager Trainee at our Gisborne site. As a trainee, you will be responsible for assisting in the daily operations of the concrete plant, including batching and dispatching concrete, managing raw material stocks, and performing routine maintenance tasks.

\

This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop your skills in the construction materials industry. You will receive full training and support to obtain the necessary licenses for the role, as well as ongoing professional development to help you progress in your career.

Key Responsibilities:

\
  • Taking and entering concrete orders\
  • Scheduling and allocating jobs\
  • Supervising Concrete Agitator Drivers\
  • Coordinating plant maintenance and performing basic upkeep\
  • Batching and dispatching concrete\
  • Managing raw material stocks\
  • Upholding safety, health, environmental, and Chain of Responsibility standards\
  • Providing exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with clients\
  • Working effectively as part of a team to achieve business goals and objectives\
  • Identifying and implementing opportunities to improve efficiency and productivity\
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and policies\
  • Contributing to a safe and healthy work environment by following all safety procedures and protocols\
  • Reporting to the Operations & Logistics Manager
