About the Role :
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Logistics Trainee to join our small, dynamic team in the Melbourne office. You will be part of a close-knit group of four employees locally, while also belonging to a global organization that is a key player in its industry. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience and grow within an international business environment.
These challenges await you :
Assist in coordinating overall store operations, ensuring the store and workshop areas are organized and maintained.
Receive, check, and store incoming goods and deliveries.
Prepare and pack orders for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
Conduct regular stock takes and assist with stock control procedures.
Deliver and collect parts as required, ensuring appropriate documentation and handling.
Process stock requests and assist with ordering parts and inventory replenishment.
Maintain inventory records and documentation accurately and promptly.
Provide general administrative support to the logistics and office team, including filing, data entry, and document handling.
Ensure all activities comply with Spheros health and safety standards and company procedures.
What We're Looking For :
A keen interest in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse operations.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions.
Basic computer skills (e.g., Google Drive, G-Mail, Excel). First knowledge of SAP is useful.
A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a strong work ethic.
A forklift license would be an advantage.
A valid driver's license is requested.
