Service Assistant
A casual position in an outside school hours care service is available.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a Service Assistant to provide high-quality care and activities for children in a safe learning environment at our after-school program.
The Role
- Deliver daily quality activities that are safe, fun, stimulating, and carry educational value.
- Supervise and support children.
- Prepare and serve healthy food options.
- Create an engaging and happy environment for children.
- Build meaningful relationships with colleagues, children, families, school leaders, and the community.
About You
- You will have an engaging and warm personality.
- You will have a strong focus on child safety and appreciation for mandatory reporting.
- You will possess excellent communication and people skills.
- You will hold a Certificate III or higher in Children's Services (or studying towards) or equivalent which can be recognised for children's services.
- You will be willing to obtain a Working with Children Check and HLTAID012 First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management Training.
Key Requirements
- Three days of casual shifts per week are available.
- You will be able to work in an inclusive, fun, and dynamic organisation.
