Job Title: School Canteen Operations Manager

Job Description:

The School Canteen Operations Manager oversees the daily functioning of the school canteen, ensuring a smooth and efficient service to students and staff.

This involves managing the opening and closing procedures, menu preparation and sales, as well as maintaining a cooperative working environment.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining high standards of customer service and satisfaction
  • Supervising food preparation and presentation
  • Managing inventory and supplies
  • Cash handling and financial management
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, applicants must possess:

  • Experience in food service settings
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children
  • Knowledge of basic financial management principles

A Basic Food Handling Certificate and Current NSW Working with Children Check number are also essential requirements for this position.
