Data Centre Security Professional

The role of a Security Officer in a data centre environment is pivotal to ensuring the safe management of physical security requirements. This individual will collaborate closely with project teams to ensure compliance and delivery of secure facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Establish effective communication channels with key stakeholders, including Regional Security Manager, Data Centre Security Manager, client representatives, certifying authorities and relevant personnel.
- Provide proactive security oversight throughout the construction phase, attending critical inspections to guarantee the delivery of fit-for-purpose facilities.
- Identify, track and respond to security-related issues and incidents according to the Security Response Plan, facilitating prompt resolution and recording details.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with project security requirements, identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies throughout the construction phase.
- Facilitate meetings, resolve issues and report on security compliance matters with clients.
- Maintain high levels of attention to detail through meticulous and process-driven approaches.
- Minimum 2 years' experience working in Physical Security Operations positions.
- Proven knowledge of Physical Security best practices, including investigation techniques and incident management.
- Experience managing Security Operations in complex environments.
