Data centre security officers provide exceptional customer service to visitors and contractors entering the facility, serving as the first point of contact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough security screenings of personnel entering and exiting restricted areas
- E nsure compliance with security procedures and policies
- Identify prohibited items and prevent them from being introduced to or removed from restricted areas
- Escalate and report incidents promptly
- Patrol assigned areas and report any issues to the supervisor
Requirements:
- Australian citizenship is required
- A baseline security clearance/NV1 is mandatory
- Excellent communication skills and observational abilities are essential
- Customer service experience with strong multitasking capabilities is necessary
- Conflict resolution, negotiation, and intermediate PC skills (MS Suite) are required
