Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and driven Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at the Stabling and Maintenance Facility in Orchard Hills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain project quality management systems in accordance with ISO 9001 and project-specific requirements.
  • Review and approve Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, and other contractor quality documentation.
  • Monitor construction works to verify compliance with specifications, drawings, and quality standards.
  • Conduct inspections, audits, and surveillance activities, ensuring corrective and preventive actions are identified and implemented.
  • Lead or assist in the investigation of non-conformances, defects, and quality-related issues, ensuring root causes are addressed.
  • Provide engineering input to drive quality improvements and ensure constructability and compliance.
  • Prepare and maintain quality records, reports, and data analysis to track performance and trends.
  • Collaborate with design, construction, and subcontractor teams to ensure quality standards are met at all stages of delivery.
  • Engage with client representatives, consultants, and internal stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and alignment on quality matters.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline).
  • 3-5 years of experience in a quality assurance role within construction, infrastructure, or rail projects.
  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance systems, standards, and construction processes.
  • Experience in reviewing technical documentation such as ITPs, specifications, and drawings.
  • Ability to identify and resolve quality issues with a practical and solutions-oriented approach.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in large-scale or complex infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
  • A proactive attitude with a strong commitment to continuous improvement and engineering excellence.
