Technical Director Position

A leading event production company seeks a skilled Technical Director to oversee technical and event expertise for global events. The ideal candidate will have experience in corporate events, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work under pressure.

The Technical Director is responsible for developing event objectives, reviewing proposals, and creating event designs based on customer requirements. They will also manage event schedules, provide financial integrity, and offer technical advice to the sales department.

To succeed in this role, you will need previous experience in a similar position, strong communication skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. You will be part of a dynamic team that values creativity, pragmatic thinking, and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop event objectives and review proposals with stakeholders.
  • Determine event specifications and create event design based on customer requirements.
  • Manage event schedules within specifications, estimating labor, equipment, and transport requirements.
  • Attend client meetings and briefings as required.
  • Provide financial integrity for events.
  • Offer technical advice to the sales department.
