Job Title: Clinical Nurse Specialist

Clinical Nurse Specialists lead the delivery of high-quality, person-centered care to residents across a designated campus. They are clinical experts who champion evidence-based practice and mentor others to improve standards of care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain expertise in a specific clinical area to enhance quality of care and resident well-being
  • Deliver comprehensive clinical assessments and develop individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident
  • Mentor registered nurses and collaborate with nurse educators and care team managers to promote excellence in care delivery
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to drive continuous quality improvement initiatives
  • Respond effectively to unplanned incidents and contribute to post-incident analysis and improvement
  • Champion ongoing professional development and best practices within the care environment
Requirements:
  • Registered nurse with a minimum of 5 years' experience (3+ years in aged care)
  • Postgraduate qualification in a relevant clinical specialty
  • Proven leadership and mentoring skills, with a focus on promoting clinical excellence and resident-centered care
  • Demonstrated expertise in key areas such as palliative care, dementia care, and complex wound management
