The Role: A senior-level position within a vibrant and collaborative team of professionals, tasked with establishing and maintaining a robust credit risk model governance framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage ongoing monitoring of credit risk models to ensure 'best practice' risk management by regularly reviewing data, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Engage with stakeholders to stay up-to-date with recent developments across the group through active communication and collaboration.
- Facilitate regular credit risk model monitoring forums and reviews to ensure transparency and consistency in decision-making processes.
- Enhance existing model monitoring framework using BitBucket and Tableau by continuously evaluating and refining processes to optimize outcomes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders for efficient data transition between environments by developing and implementing effective data management strategies.
- Execute delivery of data requests and analysis required for APRA annual IRB validation by leveraging technical skills and expertise to drive results.
Requirements:
- 3+ years experience in credit risk analytics/management with understanding of data management and business portfolios is essential for success in this role.
- Understanding of analytics, models and data to facilitate effective credit risk management is crucial for driving business outcomes.
- Ability to identify new opportunities to enhance business processes through statistical models and tools is highly valued.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills are necessary for building strong relationships and driving results.
- Tertiary qualifications (Quantitative, Actuarial, Statistics or equivalent degree) or relevant business experience are desirable.
- Technical orientations: SAS programming, SQL, R, Excel with VBA, Word, PowerPoint, Bitbucket and Tableau are required.
