Business AI Strategist Role

The Business AI Strategist plays a pivotal role in driving organisations across Australia and New Zealand to leverage AI for tangible business outcomes.

This position involves partnering with cross-functional teams to define customer AI roadmaps, focusing on maximising return on investment (ROI), scaling pilots, and ensuring business-aligned outcomes. Additionally, the Business AI Strategist will work closely with Account Managers and Business Development Managers to qualify opportunities with current customers and support the opening of new accounts across targeted verticals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead executive discussions on AI strategy, data foundations, responsible AI, and business transformation.
  • Develop discovery, envisioning, and demo plans that link initiatives to ROI, risk, and time to value.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design customer-centric AI solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing business processes.
  • Leverage Microsoft partnerships for co-sell and campaigns, while coordinating with practice leads to align opportunities with capacity and facilitate smooth handoffs to Presales Architects.
  • Upskill and educate Account Managers and Business Development Managers on AI solution plays, contributing to sales strategy development, go-to-market execution, pipeline growth, and proposal creation.
  • Represent the company at industry events and publish thought leadership content showcasing AI-driven business applications.
