Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Greenkeeping Professional. This role involves providing support to the Course Maintenance Team at Shellharbour City Council's Links Golf Course, presenting opportunities to gain practical skills in greenkeeping activities.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for you to learn and develop your skills in turf management. As part of this role, you will complete a Certificate III in Sports Turf Management course at Yallah TAFE, gaining knowledge and skills associated with presenting our city's open spaces.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Course Maintenance Team with daily tasks and responsibilities
  • Participate in on-the-job training and formal qualifications
  • Develop skills in greenkeeping activities, including turf care and maintenance

Benefits

As a Greenkeeping Professional, you can expect a temporary full-time position up to 4 years, a competitive salary range from $601.70 to $827.40 per week, plus superannuation and access to employee benefits.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a General Construction Induction Card (White Card) prior to commencement and undergo a pre-placement medical examination.
