
Healthcare Quality Management Position

Lead and manage the development, implementation, and maintenance of an organisational-wide quality system ensuring compliance with accreditation standards and supporting a culture that enables staff to understand and comply with quality, clinical risk, and patient safety guidelines.
- Develop, implement, and maintain an organisational-wide quality system incorporating compliance with accreditation standards.
- Manage the organisation's quality management system.
- Work with management to monitor and ensure preparation for accreditation for all services.
- Support a culture that enables staff to understand and comply with quality, clinical risk, and patient safety guidelines to meet relevant accreditation standards and legislative obligations.
- Lead and manage annual quality audits reviewing and maintaining audit tools.
- Analyse audit results create improvement plans and act on audit findings and recommendations to ensure compliance.
- Manage the organisation's document control system ensuring compliance and a quality management system for records' identification storage protection retrieval retention and disposition.
- Ensure an internal audit schedule is in place delivering risk minimisation compliance to accreditation and quality standards.
About this role:
- This leadership position will lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of an organisational-wide quality system ensuring compliance with accreditation standards and supporting a culture that enables staff to understand and comply with quality, clinical risk, and patient safety guidelines.
- The successful candidate will have experience in leading managing and implementing quality management systems and executing quality improvement measures.
- They will also have experience in evaluating workplace practices against accreditation standards, quality systems, and organisational policies and procedures.
- Additionally they should have sound knowledge of processes involved in maintaining accreditation status and compliance with accreditation standards.
- Proven leadership skills and ability to influence others are essential for success in this role.
What you'll need:
- Relevant qualification and substantial work experience (up to 5 years) in managing organisational clinical governance/quality systems.
- Demonstrated experience in leading implementing and maintaining a quality management system and executing quality improvement measures.
- Experience in evaluating workplace practices against accreditation standards, quality systems, and organisational policies and procedures.
- Sound knowledge of processes involved in maintaining accreditation status and compliance with accreditation standards.
