We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Coordinator to join our team at Grace Worldwide. As an Operations Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our domestic and international logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate Import and Export Shipments: Ensure timely and accurate processing of import and export shipments, including warehouse arrivals, unloads, groupage departures, LCL collections, and delivery airfreight collections and delivery.
- Schedule Daily Movements: Schedule the daily movements of wharf and rail contractors to ensure maximum efficiency and achievement of customer expectations.
- Operational Enquiries: Respond to operational enquiries from customers and internal stakeholders in a professional and timely manner.
- Logistics and Cost Management: Manage the logistics and cost of domestic and international containers, including container movements into and out of the branch.
- Container Audits: Conduct regular container audits to ensure compliance with company policies and legislative requirements.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the Operations Team, including performing licence and vehicle compliance checks.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven Organizational Skills: Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
