Raven's Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacist to join our client's oncology and clinical trials team at a state-of-the-art surgical centre in Melbourne's southeastern suburbs.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a hospital pharmacist to specialize and advance their career in the oncology field. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Clinical Screening: Conduct thorough clinical screening of cancer care medications to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Clinical Trials Coordination: Coordinate the setup of new clinical trials and facilitate negotiations with sponsors to drive research and innovation.
- Medication Management: Manage the supply of cancer care medications for day oncology patients using CHARM (Oncology Information Management Software).
Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience in a hospital setting, preferably in oncology and clinical trials.
- Registration: General registration with AHPRA is mandatory.
- Software Knowledge: Familiarity with CHARM software is highly advantageous.
- Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team of clinical and operational pharmacists.
