Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As the go-to person for maintaining facilities, you will perform general repairs, preventative maintenance, and handywork while coordinating external contractors for specialized works.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Perform General Repairs: Carry out hands-on maintenance tasks to keep facilities safe, functional, and looking their best.
  • Monitor Facility Condition: Regularly inspect buildings, equipment, and grounds to identify potential issues.
  • Coordinate Contractors: Supervise and coordinate external contractors for specialized works.
  • Respond to Maintenance Requests: Promptly address maintenance requests and issues as they arise.
  • Ensure Compliance: Maintain site safety and maintenance standards.
  • Record Maintenance: Keep accurate records of maintenance schedules and completed works.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven Experience: Possess experience in building or property maintenance.
  • Strong Handywork Skills: Demonstrate proficiency in handywork skills and a proactive, can-do attitude.
  • Time Management: Effectively manage time and priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Teamwork: Confidently work independently and as part of a team.
  • WHS Knowledge: Possess knowledge of Work Health and Safety (WHS) and safe work practices.
  • Forklift License: Hold a current Forklift License.
