The role:

We are seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to lead our production team at our Proserpine farm, located near Airlie Beach.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team to meet daily targets and key performance indicators.
  • Champion a culture of safety, ensuring full compliance with occupational health and safety policies.
  • Manage the end-to-end process of product flow through the processing facility.
  • Monitor quality assurance by checking product labels, box conditions, and temperatures.
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of controlled documents, including hygiene sheets, QA sheets, and transfer certificates.
  • Provide direct leadership on the floor, maintaining high standards of performance and behaviour.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in management or supervision within a processing environment (fast-moving consumer goods advantageous).
  • Previous experience in seafood processing is desirable.
  • Proven track record of delivering operational outcomes.
  • Critical competencies in Leadership, Zero Harm, Quality/Results Orientation, Judgement, and Problem Solving.
  • Strong communication and computer skills.
  • A hands-on leader who is not afraid to be on the floor with their team.
  • Must have Australian working rights and own reliable transport.
