Accounts Receivable Specialist

The Accounts Receivable Officer is a key position responsible for the efficient and accurate management of the accounts receivable system and its database. This role ensures timely and efficient billing of clients, residents, and other sundry debtors.
Key Responsibilities- Admit and discharge new debtors: setup debtor account in ERP system after ensuring all admission paperwork is completed accurately.
- Maintain various debtor portfolios end-to-end.
- Complete monthly billing, review, and issue statements to all residents/clients/debtors
- Assist with query and dispute resolution.
- Process Receipting and Banking
- Complete account reconciliations when required.
- Prepare monthly reporting on aged debts and present to Team Leader
- Offer assistance to fellow team members as and when required.
- Ad-hoc projects
- Workplace Health & Safety responsibilities
You will ideally bring the following:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in an accounts receivable or similar role, preferably in the Aged Care Industry.
- Proficiency in English language, both written and spoken
- Numeracy skills
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, to prioritize and multitask.
- Excellent phone manner and commitment to a high level of customer service
- A keen eye for details
- Highly developed interpersonal skills with proven ability to form good working relationships with a range of stakeholders.
