Insurance Domain Expertise

This role requires an experienced professional with a deep understanding of insurance domain principles, particularly in Property and Casualty (P&C) Insurance.

The ideal candidate has 8 to 13 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the insurance industry, with a strong track record of delivering solutions that meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Domain Knowledge and Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements for insurance solutions.
  2. Solution Design and Validation: Translate business requirements into Duck Creek-specific configurations and workflows, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  3. Stakeholder Communication and Collaboration: Facilitate meetings with cross-functional teams, including business users, technical teams, and project managers, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  4. Testing and Quality Assurance: Collaborate with QA teams to define test plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria for insurance solutions, ensuring high-quality delivery.
  5. Training and Support: Assist in the preparation of training materials and provide training to end-users on Duck Creek functionalities, promoting user adoption and proficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Duck Creek Policy, Billing, Claims, or Insights modules.
  • Hands-on experience with Duck Creek Author, Forms, and Rating is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in documenting requirements using tools like JIRA, Confluence, or other project management tools.
  • Knowledge of integration workflows, APIs, and web services within Duck Creek systems.
  • Understanding XML, JSON, and SQL for data analysis and mapping is a plus.
