Early Childhood Educator

Bush Kids is seeking a passionate and qualified educator to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Early Childhood Educator to provide high-quality care and education for children in our centre. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, experience working in a childcare setting, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement programs that promote the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of children.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to other educators in the centre.
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of children's development and progress.
  • Ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of all children in your care.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent.
  • Experience working in a childcare setting.
  • Knowledge of child development, learning, and behaviour management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and provide leadership to others.
  • Current First Aid, CPR, and Anaphylaxis certifications.
