We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to join our Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs Service in Far North Queensland.
About the Role- Fellowship with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP), or international equivalent is desirable.
- Eligibility for AHPRA Specialist Registration in Psychiatry is essential.
- Expertise in any subspecialty, with priority given to Child & Youth Psychiatry and Rural/Remote Mental Health, is an advantage.
The successful applicant will have strong communication skills and cultural competence, particularly in working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. They will be committed to providing high-quality, patient-centred care across diverse communities.
About Our ServiceOur service provides public mental health care across a vast catchment area, servicing approximately 275,000 people, including a significant proportion of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
