The Maintenance Leader is a key position within our Technical Operations team, responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient maintenance of our aircraft fleet.

This role requires a strong leader who can motivate and guide a team of maintenance professionals to achieve exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safety First: Ensure that safety is the top priority in managing the activities of the team, adhering to all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Error Prevention: Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to eliminate maintenance errors and improve overall quality.
  • Production Management: Oversee the production schedule to ensure that aircraft maintenance services are delivered on time and to the required standards.
  • Cost Management: Work with the team to optimize resource allocation and reduce costs without compromising quality or safety.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and calibrated to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Team Management: Allocate tasks and monitor progress, providing guidance and support to team members as needed.
  • Performance Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement, recognizing and rewarding good performance and encouraging staff to seek opportunities for growth and development.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: Proven supervisory experience, with a track record of motivating and developing high-performing teams.
  • Industry Expertise: Extensive experience in line or base maintenance management, with a deep understanding of aviation regulations and standards.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Ability to influence and engage with various stakeholders, including team members, management, and external partners.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to research and analyze performance data to inform decision-making.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Thorough understanding of CASA and EASA airworthiness requirements.
