About the Opportunity

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses to fill available positions on our Crisis Assessment Treatment Team as casual staff to cover planned leave and short notice vacancies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver intensive clinical assessments, treatment, and support services to clients in acute psychiatric crisis or at risk of relapse.
  • Form part of a multidisciplinary team and provide highly responsive and flexible service to consumers and carers.

Requirements:

  • Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse with successful completion of a specialist undergraduate psychiatric nursing program or a Post Graduate Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing qualification.
  • Demonstrated competency in mental state and risk assessment, prioritization of workload, and ability to work autonomously within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • 12 months experience in an acute role, highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to document and search appropriate databases.
