Key responsibilities include:

  • Transferring patients to and from trolleys, ensuring correct positioning on operating or procedural tables using safe lifting practices and devices as required.
  • Checking equipment and cleaning operating suites and procedural areas, including clearing waste and linen after each case, adhering to infection control guidelines.
  • Monitoring set-ups and stock requirements for assigned areas, ensuring correct equipment, device placement, and bed configuration meet clinical staff needs.
